Melrose is a men’s hairdressing brand founded in Clermont-Ferrand in 2019. It is now expanding internationally, preparing to open a salon in Dubai and developing its own brand of products.

We were privileged to receive the cameras of France 5 for the programme “Le mag de la santé” at the Clermont-Ferrand exhibition to talk about our partnership with Capillum.

Gaetan Texeira, a marketing professional, worked in the United States before returning to France to found Melrose Barbers, salons designed for male clients, which are very successful in Clermont-Ferrand. He reveals the secrets of his success to Emmanuelle Evina.

The hairdressing salon, like a barber shop, was recently set up in Mende, on the Avenue des Gorges-du-Tarn, driven by the conviction that the area is economically dynamic.

At 29 years old, Gaëtan Teixeira has a lot of foresight. 2022 will be a challenging year for this young entrepreneur, founder of the Melrose Barbers brand.

Barely a year after opening, the Melrose Barber on the Place du Champgil in Clermont-Ferrand was too small. Since 6 September, it has been moving to the Avenue des Etats-Unis. Before the opening, in mid-October, of a huge salon in rue Ernest-Cristal.

To compensate for the additional costs of sanitary protection and the lower revenue from screening the number of customers, some traders pass on the extra costs.
